Holiday in the Northwest with a Venezuelan visitor

Claudia, my host sister from when I was in Venezuela 11 years ago came up to visit me over the winter holidays. She speaks fluent English now, but I had fun speaking Spanish with her too and showing her the sites around my state, such as the light house at Fort Casey, Whidbey Island and the famous Alaska-way viaduct in Seattle. We also had a wonderful Christmas on Guemes with the parents, remembering another international Christmas we had back in 1997.
